Veteran aviation professional David (Dave) Pflieger is the CEO of Silver Airways, a United States-based airline. Previously, Dave Pflieger was instrumental in helping develop Air Pacific, which changed its name to Fiji Airways in 2013. Fiji Airways has a range of distinctive features, including its Tabua Club membership program.
Frequent travelers with Fiji Airways can join the Tabua Club, a business-class VIP service extended to partners of the airline. Tabua Club members can collect upgrade credits during one-way international flights, which allow an upgrade to business class on a separate flight if there is space available. Members can also use the Tabua Lounge during visits to Nadi International Airport. Other benefits include the use of an express airport security check lane and additional allowances for checked baggage, as well as access to partnership clubs offered by the airline's destinations.
Members pay an annual fee to receive Tabua Club perks, starting with a Partner package at FJ$425, a Corporate level for FJ$450, and an Individual package at FJ$499. A guest pass is available for FJ$50 and subject to a number of conditions. Additionally, several of the Tabua Club's partners offer club members special deals on merchandise and other services.
